Welcome!

Hi everyone, welcome to Charlotte's Headspace. This feels like new territory for me even though it's not. I'm not sure that anyone will know or remember but from 2013-2016 I had a personal blog and in that I wrote about my mental health along with many other bits and bobs. It fizzled out as I felt like I didn't have a lot to write about anymore however recently I've discovered I have a lot to say regarding mental health. I decided I wanted to really focus on the mental health side of things as it really helps me understand my own anxiety and help others. So here we are!

For anyone that doesn't know me, I'll do a quick introduction to myself and also what to expect on this blog.

As I'm sure you've gathered, my name is Charlotte and I've suffered with anxiety since being a child. I'm 22 years old and I'm a Libra. This probably isn't relevant to you however if you understand characteristics of a Libra then you have the basics of who I am as a person. On this blog I am going to write about my experience with anxiety and depression, offer coping mechanisms speaking from experience, mindfulness masterclasses, Q&A's about mental health, guides for family and friends who know someone with a mental illness and much more!

I'm not sure what kind of audience this will get, if any, but I hope at least one person discovers it and finds some comfort in my writing. I really love helping people but never knew in what way I could do that so maybe this is it! The main goal of all of this is to have a hub for mental health for people to go to and gain some understanding of their own mental illnesses and help cope with them. I hope you enjoy what's to come and I will speak soon.
